Kurt's major influiences are old-school tattoo artists and modern cartoonists. In his former life he was an engineer on a nuclear submarine, a job and lifestyle that demanded precision and a knack for accomplishing complex tasks in the best way possible. This combination of artistic influience and precison gives his work an unmatched quality. Kurt started tattooing in Idaho and worked in studios in Texas and Louisiana before taking the plunge and opening his own studio.
